Terrible - cancelled appointment at last minute
Booked and confirmed an appointment at the selfridges branch. Organised a day out in London and then received an email to say it had been cancelled. Very disappointing for my daughter.

worst customer service
I emailed them in the morning, still haven't got a reply. I used their chat on the website which says you should get a reply within minutes hours ago and still nothing. such a hassle
UPDATE:
they responded to me the next day.

The most incredible service
The most incredible service, support and kindness from Jodie! What a wonderful asset to the company..
Don’t refund money after receiving item back!
Honestly quite disappointed with the customer service! After returning an item and waiting almost a month now I still haven’t received my money back. When checking online the item has been delivered back to A&M on the 23rd. There hasn’t been a reply to my email enquiry and the online chat seems to be disabled (tried during opening hours). I’ve never had problems like this regarding a refund and it is frustrating having to spend my time chasing after the refund. I usually don’t feel the need to complain like this but I find it quite ignorant from a business to happily take an item back but not refund the money.

Really disappointed with the quality of…
Really disappointed with the quality of the jewellery. I was bought a pair of sterling silver plated earrings for Christmas and they have already tarnished and gone rough where the silver has come away. I am so disappointed as I know they were expensive and for the quality to deteriorate this quickly is just not good enough. I won’t be buying from you in the future and I’ll be letting my family and friends know if the experience I’ve had as well.

Awful awful jewellery
Awful awful jewellery. I naively invested in a few pieces of jewellery for my birthday and christmas. All of them have broken and I look after my things. "Delicate jewellery" just means that it is bad quality and snaps. My necklack has broken, a gem of the earring has fallen out and I got it replaced and another fell out, a bracelet has snapped and a hoop earring snapped too. Poor quality. Waste of money
They’ll take your money but not deliver
I ordered over £200 of pieces for my wedding in late July on 1st June which never came - after chasing I was told that some of the ‘coming soon’ pieces were not going to be ready till August and that I won’t get anything until everything is ready for my order, after asking for at least the pieces that were ready I was then told that now some of the pieces were sold out and I’d have to wait till late August - I told them it’s for my wedding but got a very firm email telling me it’s essentially my fault because small print says so. I spend a fortune in store with A&M and I felt really uncared for - btw the pieces in question are all the very heavily advertised piece you see all over social media. They took my money and never sent me the products, and I will never shop with them again

Rook piercing gone wrong
I got a rook piercing in the store in Selfridges, London, a month ago. The piercer had to spent a few minutes to explain to me why I can’t the piercing I initially wanted, and what piercings I am able to get. We we’re running out of time (I think appointments are for 15-20 minutes) and so she told me I needed to get pierced quickly because there’s another client.
She did my piercing so quickly that she got the location wrong. Normally, piercers should put in a mark in the area and ask whether we are fine with it, but she did the piercing without showing me. She pierced it in an area slightly higher up than usual rook piercings. I told her it didn’t look right and she said it was okay. This led to the lower diamond of my rook scratching my inner ear. 3 weeks later, the scratch got so deep I started bleeding and the scratch left a small hole in my inner ear.
I went to another piercer which explained to me that I was not pierced in the correct area (I wasn’t surprised, I could tell it looked wrong the moment I saw it). Finally, the other piercer told me that the metal was stainless steel, and not titanium (despite Astrid & Miyu telling me its titanium).
Despite those working by the cashier being extremely kind women, I’m not happy AT ALL with the piercer. Absolutely unprofessional and I’m genuinely frustrated.

I don’t normally leave reviews
I don’t normally leave reviews, however after Tyannah’s response to a problem with part of a recent order, which she dealt with in exemplary fashion, I am making an exception. She was efficient, understanding and friendly, which I have to say, was refreshing in today’s generally robotic response. Thank you ??

I found Tyannah to be very helpful and helped with my order which I finally received. Very happy with service and didn't have to wait long.

Bad reviews hidden, misleading images
I wrote a one star review for an earring I purchased and it has not been published on the website, so I question whether all their reviews are published. I'm upset I bought what I thought was a set of two earrings, only to find out I had bought a single earring. Whilst the copy stated this, the picture was misleading and did not clearly illustrate the product and I feel it is in no way clear. Even as a single earring I can't work out how you would possibly wear it. So I have spent £39 on an earring which I can never wear, even as a singular one, which I can't return as its non redundable and I can't even buy the second one for a) because it doesn't go through an ear piercing hole and b) because its now out of stock.
Edit:you can see they have responded to my response below. Yet the negative review I posted on their website has not been published and they have failed to comment on this aspect. I have no idea how this is legal.
